Ray Clifton

I am a forester by education and profession, but my first love is writing.  An odd mixture, to be sure, but there are stories all around.  Even among the trees that line the backroads of Alabama.

The writing here is a mixture of creative nonfiction, prose poetry, and  short fiction.  Sometimes you won’t be able to tell the difference.  That’s the “creative” in creative nonfiction.
